The vision for what is now Corporate Occupational Solutions Inc. COS began in
Kamloops, British Columbia, in 1999. The idea was further developed during an
informal workplace health and wellness needs analysis in Fort McMurray, Alberta,
at a local oil sands project. The analysis identified a need to help individuals
and companies create positive, safe, and healthy work environments that support
their people and cultures, while providing a significant return on investment
for the client. What is the best way to address the complexities of the
contemporary work environment? The answer: Draw on a range of specialists from a
multidisciplinary team to address the problems we face in our business and work
environments.

COS was officially formed on June 28, 2004. Our primary lines of business,
include ergonomics, rehabilitation, fitness, workshops, recruitment, and
facility design/management. COS was formed to ensure that clients receive
convenient access to Vancouver’s most comprehensive health, safety, and wellness
services.

Today, our integrated health and productivity management approach helps
companies and individuals achieve their health and wellness goals, while we
continue to further employer efforts to create positive, supportive, and
productive cultures.
